Mozilla wants to disable support for Adobe Flash Player in its Firefox browser from version 69 by default. Thus, open-source specialists arrive something before the official end of Flash Player.
The current version is Firefox 64, Firefox 69 according to the current schedule from September 3 to the beginning. Adobe does not get the Flash player until a year later.
This essentially leaves users one more year to make the transition. Disabling means that the browser no longer informs users of the default Flash content. In addition, no prompt to activate the plug-in will appear anymore. If you still want to use Flash Player in the Mozilla browser, you can still activate it manually. According to the Mozilla Roadmap, by 2020, support for Adobe Flash Player will be completely discontinued.
Firefox for Android does not support Adobe Flash Player since the fall of 2017 or Firefox 56.
