Duayaw-Nkwanta (Ahafo), June 4, GNA – Ms.
Freda Prempeh, MP for the riding of Tano North in the
The Ahafo region is currently building 50 mechanized boreholes at a cost of GH ¢ 20,000.00 to provide drinking water to disadvantaged communities in the region.

The beneficiary communities are Bredi,
Abuom, Yamfo, Asukese, Bomaa, Subonpan, Manponteng, Campso, Tweaho, Susuanso,
Afrisipakrom, Adongo, Tanoso, Ansen and Duyaw-Nkwanta.
In an interview with the Ghana News Agency
(GNA) in Duayaw-Nkwanta, Ms. Prempeh said that five additional communities
including Adrobaa, Koforidua, Rubi, Onwe and Gyaakye would also benefit from
the drilling project.

constituency.
He said that the boreholes had brought relief
to the people and hopes that the Municipal Assembly of Tano North will also be
improve the poor road network in the region.
Mr. Ofosuhene advised communities to take
appropriate care of the drill holes and to maintain them also for their own benefit.
