Two MPs called the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service (GPS) to return missing girls to their families.

This follows the revelations by IDC leader Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah that the missing girls have been found and will soon be reunited with their families.

Sekondi MLA Andrew Egyapa Mercer and Ningo Prampram MP Sam George presented their views on the subject.

Mercer said she was surprised that the girls were not yet reunited with their family, despite news from the CID leader.

George, however, expressed confidence in the police and added that she was competent but was reluctant to dismiss the missing girls as they might face a challenge.
