The telecommunications giant, MTN, has ordered the construction of a 24-unit block of clbadrooms for Ghana's police education system, at a cost of 1.6 million GHS.

The project aims to meet the needs of the Ghana Police Service in education and is expected to benefit more than 2,493 students per year.

The project includes a director's office, a common staff room, modern toilets and furniture.

In addition to the 24-unit block of clbadrooms, MTN will convert and upgrade an existing library into an integrated library, which will include a book area and an ICT center.

Selorm Adadevoh, CEO of MTN Ghana, said at the inauguration ceremony on Thursday, January 31, 2019 in Tesano, Accra: "MTN values ​​our relationship with the Ghana police more fundamentally for the security we enjoy in as long as Ghanaians. MTN Ghana said this year is the customer's year, which makes us enlighten the lives of our customers at different points of contact. This is the beginning of our life with the Ghana police.

Mr. Adadevoh said MTN's vision was "to lead the creation of a bold new digital world and that once completed, this facility will include a computer center that will bring to students the tremendous benefits of ICT."

He added that the project was the 143rd investment of the MTN Ghana Foundation since its inception more than a decade ago.

He said they were happy to have significantly invested in education in Ghana with more than 82 educational projects across the country.
