MTN Ghana Limited has delivered a check for GH ¢ 100,000.00 to Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene, in his Manhyia palace in Kumasi.

The gift was accompanied by a basket worth 5,000 GH ¢, the company's contribution to support the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the ascension of the Asanteman king's throne.

Mr. Selorm Adadevor, President and CEO of MTN Ghana, who presented the check on behalf of the company, stated that the King was an exemplary visionary leader, who continued to impact not only the life of his people, but also beyond.

"MTN is pleased to join the Asanteman people in celebrating the great accomplishments of this great man over the years," he said.

Mr Adedevor expressed his satisfaction that the Ashanti region remains one of MTN's key markets, adding that the company cherished and valued the customers of the region.

The telecommunications giant's CEO said that as part of his commitment to give back to society, his team has made huge investments in health, education and economic empowerment across the country. , including the Ashanti region.
