Prior to the celebrations on Wednesday, May 1, staff of telecommunications giants, MTN, took part in an event called Customer Awareness Day.
In Accra, leaders and other employees of MTN Ghana visited some of the major markets, including the Makola, Kaneshie, Ashaiman and Agbogbloshie markets, where they traded with traders.
MTN staff provided registered and potential customers with information about their products and services and also solicited feedback.
Addressing the media after the visit, MTN Ghana's General Service Manager, Samuel Koranteng, explained that the event was part of his "Year of the Customer" initiative, which was aimed at to give priority to the satisfaction of its customers.
He stated that the decision to visit the markets was to make the company's products and services known to traders and to solve their problems, as most of them did not find it convenient to visit their service centers. to the customer.
"We have declared this year, the year of the customer and it is the customers who attend our services. So we dedicated them this year. We want to delight them and make them understand all the services offered by MTN and find out which is suitable for their work, their children and their families. We are here in an educational project to listen to customers and advise them on the network and the products we offer ".
