MTN Ghana has officially closed its "21 Days of Y'ello Care" program, a volunteer activity aimed at giving young people, especially the unemployed, logistical support and vocational training.

The program, which began on June 1, 2019 and ended June 21, had as its theme: "Creating a better future for our young people".

Mr. Selorm Adadevoh, President and CEO of MTN Ghana, said that at the end of the 21-day staff commitment to have an impact on youth, 330 unemployed youth have been trained in the 39, makeup art, wig, pearl making online digital marketing.

He said 150 young people have been trained in programming, web design and entrepreneurship, and 48 young entrepreneurs have been mentored and trained to digitize their businesses for better results.

Mr. Adadevoh noted that staff had also visited some correctional centers to motivate young detainees, revealing that more than 1,000 young people participating in the Y'ello World Day of Protection initiative had been informed of the consequences. drug abuse in Tema Manhean, Cape Coast and Takoradi.

The CEO said the program had 92 percent employee involvement, up from 66 percent in 2018, which was a good step.
