The Food Standards Agency and Public Health England have published a study badessing the diet of the British population.
Their findings are based on nine years of data from the National Food and Nutrition Survey and constitute the first publication to provide a long-term badysis.
Although their research indicates a reduction in sugar consumption, the overall proportion of the population consuming sugary drinks has not changed much.
