Mr. C. Ohene stated that the incident was rather unfortunate and was an error on the part of Multimedia and Adom FM and wishes to badure the hon. Minister, we will observe the greatest diligence and the greatest care to prevent such events in the future.

Acting Chief Director, Mr. Joseph Obeng-Poku, explained that at the time the minister had received the call, he was with the minister at a meeting and that the minister had looks cool and collected. He is surprised that the minister is being disrespectful. According to the Acting Director General, the problem was not that the lady was a trainee, but rather the respect of the protocols to be respected.

The Honorable Minister for her part accepted the apology in good faith and indicated that she was willing to continue working with journalists for the sake of mother Ghana.

The trainee, Miss Rahinatu Abdul Bach, expressed her admiration for the minister and considers her as her model. She therefore regrets this incident.
