Muslims around the world celebrate Eid

Eid al-Fitr means "festival of breaking the fast" – a religious festival where Muslims thank Allah and exchange gifts.

After watching the first crescent of the new moon, prayers are being held around the world to mark the end of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan.
