Muslims must remain attached to Islam – Dr. Bonsu

Accra, June 4, GNA – Dr. Sheikh Amin Bonsu,
National President of the Ghana Muslim Mission called on Muslims to stay
committed to the cause of Islam by showing great interest in development and wellbeing
of the society.

He said: "Let's focus on the establishment of
educational institutions to complement governments' efforts to
educational infrastructure, to allow more children to have access to quality education
at all levels, as well as creating jobs to empower young people to earn a living
employment to allow them to contribute their quota to society. "

In a statement issued to the Ghana News Agency
Tuesday in Accra, Dr. Bonsu congratulated Muslims for the success of their Ramadan
and wished them happy Eidul-Fitr celebrations, praying to Allah to accept all
prayers and gave them the best of this world and the afterlife.

He said that Ramadan has been and has always been a
great month filled with high spirituality, love, kindness, acts of charity,
piety, more prayers and a lot of kindness. This exercise was meant to remind Muslims
of their duties to Almighty God and humanity, as they imitate the generous and
pious, peaceful and decent character of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)
On him).

He said, "When I leave Ramadan, I
urge all Muslims to try to maintain their new state of being by
constantly approaching Allah by his devotion to prayer and frequent
reading the Quran. "

Dr. Bonsu said that Eidul-Fitr was a joyous
opportunity coming especially after the 30 days of fasting and prayers in the
month of Ramadan. As expected, Muslims around the world celebrated this
memorable occasion.

He called on Muslims to take advantage of the opportunity
show more love to the poor and needy, neighbors and loved ones by sharing
whatever treats they have with them in order to gain the pleasure of Allah.

He urged young people to celebrate
opportunity humbly and solemnly with the fear of Allah. They should try as much as
possible to respect the laws of the land and to refrain from any act of
anarchy by celebrating Eid.

He also urged all to encourage religious
freedom, saying that they enjoyed peace and quiet among Muslims and
Christians and all other religions prayed to Allah to continue to show love
to each other and always live in peace.

Dr. Bonsu prayed for the country, asking
Allah gives wisdom to the leaders to direct the affairs of the country and also
guide them on the right path.

"What Allah grants to the people of Ghana
subsistence; good health filled with good deeds and prosperity and save the
nation of all kinds of calamities. We pray for peace in the troubled parts of the
world where people, especially women and children, are tortured, starved and
suffer all kinds of difficulties because of war and terrorism. "
