The Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona is the largest trade show dedicated to smartphones. Officially, it starts Monday, February 25, but manufacturers are already presenting their innovations Saturday and Sunday at major press conferences.
On Saturday, for example, new cell phones from Alcatel and Blackberry are expected on the Sunday following the first flagship event. Huawei will probably show its first collapsible smartphone, after Samsung has already introduced its Galaxy Fold four days before the MWC.
On Sunday, Nokia, Microsoft and LG also announced press conferences Monday, then Sony and several other smaller manufacturers.
