Delali Kwasi Brempong, parliamentary candidate at the NDC at the partial election of Ayawaso West Waguon who has just finished, revealed how he had to be called and warned of his son's return on the day of the incident of the shooting in Bawaleshie.

According to him, around 7 o'clock that morning, he decided to go around the different polling centers to ensure the presence of his voting agents.

Before he could go to the last two polling stations, his son asked him not to go home.

"My son called and said that he had heard gunshots around the house, so I should stay wherever I am, I should not go home."

Delali Kwasi Brempong, said he had rushed home to find 8 ball marks in the trees in front of his house and one in one of the pillars of his neighbors' door.
"I was followed by four officers and three armed officers who followed me to my office and I told them again that I was submitting to them."

Kwasi Brempong recounted that the police, seeing that his state of mind ensured the safety of his family before his departure.

"After a brief conversation with them, they announced that they were going to leave police in the house to protect themselves."
