Strong man in a collage with his former boss, Sarkodie
Osei Kwaku Vincent, Ghanaian and Afro-pop hip-hop artist, known as Strongman Burner, revealed that his viral tweet was not meant for his former boss, Sarkodie.
According to Strongman, his tweet was a troll for Manchester United and not for the winner of the BET Award.
"I'm a fan of Chelsea, so obviously I would not expect Man U to go above us. I was happy with the label.
They did everything they needed for me. Manchester United fans were jubilant when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over from Jose Mourinho, but the team was not doing well as before when the coach started.
I was happy with the label. They did everything for me, "he revealed.
Strongman also said that Sarkodie and Sarkcess Music had helped him a lot in his musical career and were very grateful to him.
He added that Ghanaians were expecting a lot from their team but their expectations had not been met.
"Sark is very tall and most people also think I'm a good artist. Therefore, if we work together, we should be able to give them something more. I do not know.
As we could not meet their expectations, they are a little disappointed, but we did our best, "he added.
On April 14, the Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie, through his social network, announced the end of Strongman's contract with his label.
Sarkodie described the work journey with Strongman as invaluable and remarkable.
He was also grateful to him for working with him, wished him success in all his endeavors and promised to give him no help if his services were needed.
However, before the announcement of Sarkodie, Strongman had appealed to Twitter to send an indirect message to his boss.
He tweeted; "Most good footballers become bad coaches. Do not be deceived. It was an indirect message, but Ghanaians thought it was destined for Sarkodie.
