Accra, April 29, GNA –
The National Accreditation Office (NAB) and the General Legal Counsel (GLC) have
agreed on the need for strict quality control measures to improve the teaching
and learning law programs at the tertiary level.
Both institutions
agreed to undertake review and evaluation visits to all institutions
law programs.
A statement signed by
Mr. Lawrence Kwarteng-Ashia, NAB Public Relations Officer, with a copy to the Secretariat
Ghana News Agency in Accra, said the decision had been taken at a meeting between
both institutions to refine plans on how best to improve and deal with
challenges that legal education faces in the country.
The general legal
The Council is the statutory body responsible for regulating professional legal education
in Ghana.

Awusabo-Asare, President of the National Board of Accreditation, again stressed
how important it was for both institutions to carry out joint monitoring
