Prior to yesterday's meeting, Dr. Anyars had stated that similar commitments had been made in the 16 regions and had taken place in the districts.
He added that NABCO was the central coordinator responsible for engaging and supervising the exercise with staff of the physical planning department of the MMDAs to ensure that, by the end of the year, each house would have been labeled.
Logistic support
In addition, the Ministry of Special Initiatives will support logistics to train and deploy NABCO staff, says Dr. Anyars.

Responding to a question about the random numbering of houses in the country and how they hoped to achieve this goal, he said that the country was moving away from the block system to the sequential house numbering system.
