Lyon gave the nod to Nabil Fekir to transfer to Real Betis after asking the club to "close the deal", according to reports in France.
The French international, who almost signed for Liverpool during last summer 's transfer window, went around the Arsenal radar this month.
But he looks set to sign for the Real Betis Liga club, which beat the two Premier League giants in the Fekir signing race.
Fekir is due to travel to Seville for the transfer in the coming days, ending his eight-year term with the Ligue 1 club.
According to French publication RMC Sport, Lyon and Real Betis agree on a rate in the next 48 hours to allow treatment.
The report emerges following Napoli's claims on a tentative contract offer with Fekir.
