Shatta Wale, NAM1 and Stonebwoy
Menzgold's CEO has now left Shatta Wale and other Zylofon Media signatories, leaving only Stonebwoy and Kumi Guitar among his supporters.
This sparked a new controversy over an apparent separation between artists and the label.
NAM 1 has been in the spotlight in recent months because of Menzgold's persistent problems with the state regarding the legality of its operations.
A few weeks ago, a circuit court in Accra issued a warrant against him, although he is currently in Dubai.
Last week, the Bureau of Economic and Organized Crime (EOCO) also obtained a court order to attack all the properties owned by the CEO of Menzgold.
In a statement, EOCO ranked Zylofon Music and Media Company Limited among the holdings.
Other properties are land and vehicles owned by Menzgold Ghana Limited, the Menzgold office complex, the Zylofon arts complex, Brew Marketing Consult and the Star Madrid football club.
Zylofon Music is about to freeze, it remains to know if the contract of the label with its artists is still valid.
