An international diplomatic consultant refuted the government's claim that Menzgold Ghana Limited's general manager, Nana Appiah Mensah, was arrested in Dubai.
According to Faruk Al-Wahab, the government did not provide clear explanations to Ghanaians, leaving room for doubt.
"… is he under arrest, has he been arrested, is he in a police cell, is he in prison, under house arrest or house arrest or is he on hold? ? ", He questioned.

The government of Ghana sent a delegation to Dubai to negotiate with the local authorities for extradition, but the delegation returned unsuccessfully.
Faruk Al-Wahab, speaking to Kofi Adoma Nwanwani on KofiTV, said the authorities had not followed the right process before sending the delegation to Dubai.
"You must contact the foreign intelligence services to conduct the attack with your Foreign Ministry and your ambbadador …"
According to him, if the process had been followed, the Ghanaian Ambbadador to Dubai would have contacted Dubai's Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of the Interior and the police to make an appointment with the relevant authorities in Dubai for the Ghanaian delegation.
"If they had allowed the Ghanaian embbady to operate in conjunction with foreign intelligence services, they could have taken note of the rearguard scenarios and pbaded on the information. He stressed, stressing that BNI, national security and the attorney general power in Dubai.
"You can not go to the streets of Dubai and simply look for the Attorney General's address. This is called a state of the kingdom because even a police officer needs the king's instruction to talk to you about international issues, "he added.
