President Nana Addo and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, will be seen on stage at a rally to be held on Tuesday.
The rally is to solicit votes for the candidate of the new Patriotic Party (NPP) in the January 31 byelection in the district of Ayawaso West Wuogon.
The by-election was made necessary by the sudden death of Emmanuel Kyeremanteng Agyarko. He was buried last Saturday.
Not relying on its oars to keep its seat, the NPP will hold a big demonstration on Tuesday.
The special guest will be President Akufo-Addo.
The gathering at La Bawaleshie Park should begin at noon.
A statement signed by national organizer Sammi Awuku said the rally will close the party's campaign for the by-election.
NPP candidate Lydia Seyram Alhbadan, widow of the late MP, will also address her supporters.
The predecessor of the late MP, Frema Osei Opare, who is currently chief of staff, will also attend the ceremony.
