Asamoah Gyan meets Kwesi Appiah
Ghana's President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, went to Twitter to congratulate Asamoah Gyan and Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah at the conclusion of Tuesday's peace talks in Accra.
Gyan, who was dismissed as captain last week, launched a sailing attack against the coach when he announced his decision to immediately retire from the national team.
But Nana-Addo stepped in and ordered the Kayserispor striker to cancel his decision and make himself available for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
The top scorer in Ghana's history forced and met his trainer to smoke the pipe of peace before their camp before the tournament in Dubai.
