Fashion model and British businesswoman, Naomi Campbell has expressed the wish to lead a group of investors in the country in search of business opportunities.
This follows a recent discussion between the model and the Ghana Investment Promotion Center, GIPC, at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
According to GIPC CEO Yofi Grant, once successful, the model will create a business in the country that can serve other parts of the world.
"She is a very well connected businesswoman. Through her, I met investors who are looking for other opportunities for exploration in the country and to position Ghana on the world map. "
Yofi Grant hoped that this change would be due to the favorable economic situation created by the government in the last two years.
"I am very optimistic and that is why I say that there is a bright future for every young man in this country who examines his performances on the world stage and the various improvements we have made to our indicators economies, "he added.
He revealed this information in an interview with JoyBusiness after a brief ceremony during the 4th edition of the Ghana Enterprise Summit in Accra.
Approximately four hundred business executives and general managers are expected at the event under the theme "The Futuristic Economy: A Technology-Based Business Future and Governance for Economic Transformation".
Ernest De-graft Egyir, general manager of the network of general managers of Ghana, organizer of the event, hinted that the summit would set the tone for the development of the roadmap to resolve many of technological challenges facing the current Director General.
"Some of the questions the summit seeks to answer to include the role of the modern executive director, how can the government develop policies to meet the growing demands of the modern economic environment, among other things?" -he declares.
