A national campaign to administer anti-polio drops to children under five begins on Monday.
The national coordinator of the polio eradication program, Rana Safdar, told Pakistan Islamabad that the polio campaign would target 39 million children in the four provinces, Azad Kashmir and Gilgit- Baltistan.
He urged the population to cooperate with the polio teams to administer drops to their children against this debilitating disease.
