The commander in charge of the SWAT team for national security, Deputy Police Superintendent (DSP), Samuel Kojo Azugu, explained that national security has many uniforms that they wear for various reasons, including for protect yourself against mosquitoes and reptiles.

According to him, on some occasions, as in the partial election of Ayawaso West Wuogon, the civilian component of National Security wore the official black sweater over jeans.

He however explained that even though he had not sanctioned the agents on what he had to wear, they had chosen to wear the black shirt over the ginger brown pants for a purpose of # 39; uniformity.

DSP Azugu, who reported on Monday during the public hearing of the investigation commission on Judge Emile Short in Accra, also revealed that the agents, which he described as civilians, wore masks to protect their identity because of the nature of their work. informants.
