Frenkie de Jong said the Netherlands would keep a special eye on Cristiano Ronaldo when they meet Portugal in the first League of Nations final.

England's hopes of winning the first trophy in 53 years had died out in a calamitous way as her terrible defense allowed Holland to seal a 3-1 overtime victory and qualify for the first final of the World Cup. League of Nations.

Marcus Rashford's penalty in the first half was canceled by Matthijs De Ligt, before two late Quincy Promes goals drew the Dutch in Sunday's final.

De Jong, who will join Barcelona since Ajax this summer, also dismissed the idea that the Dutch would be tired after their overtime win.

"Fatigue could have been a problem if we had lost but not with a win. We are all in good shape and we have not had a lot of games recently, "he said.

"One of our main advantages is that we continue. We all run for each other and never give up. This is not the first time we come from behind. "
