NDC first vice-president reportedly threatened to kill his wife

Ibrahim Jajah, first vice-president of the NDC, the largest opposition party in Greater Accra, is seriously annoyed after being threatened with death by his wife who is currently seeking to divorce their marriage from close three years.

According to reports, the NDC politician, who has had such an influence on young people, used thugs to seize land in different parts of Accra, a situation that generated enmity between him and his wife, who opposed such acts.

In a petition written and signed by his wife, she claimed that Ibrahim Jajah was threatening her life after making the decision to withdraw from the marriage.

In a letter dated 17 April 2019 addressed to the Director General of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service, she indicated that Ibrahim Jajah had left their marital home without having informed her.

She also alleged that Ibrahim Jajah had started making death threats so that he had hired people who used motorcycles to track her wherever she went.

"I found that it terrorized and threatened my personal safety. My home employees also reported repeatedly quoting people performing rituals around the house. I know Ibrahim very well and I would not take seriously the threats he uttered, "she said.

In that letter, she asked for police intervention while the East Legon police command was pursuing her investigation.

However, on May 8, 2019, the lady again asked President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo to ensure her safety as a citizen of the country.

She said that Ibrahim Jajah engaged in illegal and dangerous activities in East Legon and surrounding areas.

According to her, Ibrahim Jajah is a well-known ground guard who appeared in several newspapers, including the Daily Graphic, as a notorious land guard terrorizing people on their land.

She claimed that Ibrahim Jajah had also received resistance from some of Accra's resident badociations for his "terrorism and his abuses".

She revealed that Ibrahim Jajah's activities resulting from the tacit complicity of some security agents in the police have left many victims very poor and homeless.

She explained in the petition that she had married Ibrahim Jajah in 2016, but after realizing her true nature and several abuses of which she had been a victim, she had decided to seek a divorce.

According to his wife, legal proceedings are underway to finalize the divorce, but his safety has since been the subject of a constant "ambush" by Ibrahim Jajah.

She also listed that Ibrahim Jajah had threatened her with death because of a problem she had with him regarding a land at East Legon.

She recounted that one client had purchased land at East Legon and had paid 60% of the amount to Ibrahim Jajah and the remaining percentage to the family that Ibrahim Jajah was supposed to represent.

"The family who owns the land accepted the payment and gave the client all the necessary documents and the right to the land. Since then, Ibrahim has stormed the client's site twice and has vandalized the building located on the land, asking him to pay him the remaining 40%, a sum that he has already paid to the owners of the property. field, "she said.

She also recounted that the secretary of Okpong-We intervened throughout the saga by presenting evidence that the family had indeed regularized the documents provided to the client for that parcel of land.

She said that as Ibrahim Jajah did not wish to let go, she, as facilitator of this transaction, helped the client to ensure the right thing was done.

She stated that "Ibrahim Jajah then turned me over for almost three months, emitting death threats and having me followed by strangers wherever I go, including my home."

His wife, in the same petition, also stated that "he also threatened me in front of the East Legon Police Command to demolish the walls of my residence and forcefully settle it." . "

She was surprised, however, that the blatant threats to her life remained without comment from the police.

She claimed that she had become skeptical about the police position to help in the case, hence her decision to ask the president to intervene.

"Ibrahim Jajah may be an individual, but in the scheme of things his actions are an abuse of security for the state. The situation is even more serious because he works with bands of land guards in the city, which he uses both to seize his land and, in some cases, for devilish political activities that no only harm to individuals, but also undermine the security of the state ".

In the meantime, all efforts to reach Ibrahim Jajah for his comments have been unsuccessful, calls sent via his cell phone Saturday at 20:24 have remained unanswered.

Similarly, the messages sent to him on April 31, 2029 received no response from him.
