The largest opposition party in Ghana, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has set its filing fee at GH ¢ 400,000 for all supporters of the party's flag bearer, MyNewsGh.com can confirm with authority.
This decision was made at a meeting of the National Executive Committee yesterday.
Among the points to remember from the meeting, presidential elections for the primary party will take place on January 19, 2019. It was suggested earlier to push for March, but a majority voted against.
The forms will cost 20,000 GHC per aspirant and the 400,000 Ghc filing fee.
Aspiring women and an additional reduction for disabled aspirants are set at 50% less.
