Speaking during Hitz's Daybreak Hitz FM on Friday, The evangelist I.K Aning said he asked the party to pay him compensation that could help him in his ministry.

He refuted rumors that the party gave him money next to the car.

He explained to Andy Dosty that he had the feeling that money would not help him in the long run.

Evangelist I.K Aning also raised rumors that he would have given the song to the party.

"I am not a politician. I did not give my song to any political party. They adopted the song for their campaign, "he told Twi.

According to I.K Aning, he was not happy that the party had recreated the version of his song for his campaign without consulting him.

He added that the party's actions violated copyright laws and therefore had to compensate him.

The song has been nominated for Gospel Song categories of the year and the popular song of the year of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
