The murdered activist of the National Democratic Congress (WDC), Wasihu Iddrisu, was buried.
There was a security presence when the mortal remains of Iddrisu were buried in Tafo, in the Ashanti region, as a result of a solemn Islamic ritual.
Iddrisu was shot dead by badailants at the NDC's regional headquarters in Ashanti on Monday (February 18th).
According to police, four members of the pro-NDC militant group, the Hawks, were behind the killing of Iddrisu. A manhunt has been organized for them since the murder.
The names of the suspects were given as Husein Barnabas, also known as Warrior, Mijima, Damos and Abu Taliban.
