Alhaji Alhassan Mbalba, chairman of the Democratic National Congress section of the United Kingdom (UK) and the Republic of Ireland, said the entire section mourned the death of a former minister of state and a former national women’s organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Hon. Ama Benyiwa Doe.
Hon. Benyiwa Doe passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021.
“Hon Ama Benyiwa Doe was frank, courageous and stoic in her political speech. She never hesitated to boldly express her political views without any fear or favor,” said a press release signed by Alhaji Alhassan Mbalba.
The statement added: “Our prayers and thoughts are with the immediate family and the NDC fellowship in these difficult times. May his soul rest in perfect peace.”

THE NDC-UK CHAPTER & IRLAND CRYING HON AMA BENYIWA DOE
All of the members of the NDC-UK & Ireland section were in a state of shock and mourning following the untimely death of the Hon. Ama Benyiwa Doe.
There is no doubt that the Honorable Ama Benyiwa Doe was a prominent political figure among her contemporaries, as she was a prominent lawmaker, minister of state, member of the State Council and former national women’s organizer of the National Congress. Democratic (NDC).
The Honorable Ama Benyiwa Doe was frank, courageous and stoic in her political speech. She has never hesitated to boldly express her political views without any fear or favor.
The Honorable Ama Benyiwa Doe has contributed immensely to the political fortunes of the NDC and to the national political discourse. She will be sadly missed by many Ghanaians inside and outside the National Democratic Congress.
Our prayers and thoughts are with the immediate family and the NDC fellowship in these difficult times. May his soul rest in perfect peace.
