The special prosecutor, Martin Amidu, is on fire while he is attacking his first victim.

After more than a year in power, the man known as a citizen vigilante continues his first trial in court.

According to a leaked document from his office, Martin Amidu sued Bawku Central MP Mahama Ayariga.

Mahama Ayariga faces four counts of fraudulent evasion of duties and taxes, use of public office for private purposes, unlicensed currency transactions and currency transfers. from Ghana through an unauthorized reseller.

You may recall that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) was among those who complained that Martin Amidu was taking too much time in the line of duty.

But Kwaku Boahen, a deputy director of communications, believes that the special prosecutor's office should be dissolved.
