Mahama Upset Former President John Mahama

A group of youth branch, organizers of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), opposition party in the Greater Accra region, said that former president John Dramani Mahama had not done enough to empower parties at the party's base.

"We have been in power for eight years, we have not had power for two years. How have our members become so helpless that even when they are attacked, they can not even defend themselves? The answer is simple. they are helpless because they were not empowered and the Mahama government did, "said Bernard Aryeequaye, a youth branch organizer.

At a press conference in Accra with Mr Bright Nukpeta, Mr Aryeequaye, youth organizer of the Nii Ayi and Abubakari Seidu branch, said the Mahama government had failed to take charge of itself and had even reduced the powers of some of them. , "And that's the result we're seeing today."

He recalled that the Mahama administration had failed to enlist NDC members in national security on the grounds that they had failed mathematics and English.

"We have heard how some of our members are now asking ex-president Mahama if NPP national security officials who attacked us carried out the attack with weapons like mathematics and the police." English. We ask him again, now that we are attacked, whether we are attacked with mathematics or in English, "asked Mr. Aryeequaye.

"Under Mahama, even the NDC pro media houses have collapsed," said Aryeequaye.

He also accused former President Mahama of strengthening the NPP while he was president. "President Mahama was responsible when the NPP trained and equipped the invincible forces. He was president when the NPP brought Syrians and retired security guards from South Africa to train their people. Why did not he stop him?

He called on all NDC members to blame former President Mahama for the violence of Ayawaso West Wuogon before anyone else.

Mr. Bright Nukpeta stated that the violence of Ayawaso West Wuogon was a justification for Mr. ASK Bagbin's position that political injustice was causing chaos and that there could be no peace without justice or equity.

"When Bagbin said that unfairness was a recipe for trouble, that's why he and other aspirants to the flag stood up against political injustice in the NDC, because an injustice is nowhere else.

He stated that "indiscipline and lawlessness were present during the violence in the by-election and that the Vice President warned us all against this".

"JM, as president, has done enough, and that's why we were at a disadvantage in Ayawaso West Wuogon. Mr. Bagbin was the first flag bearer to condemn the incident in Ayawaso and the first to visit the victims of the 37 military hospital ahead of the others.

He said: "ASK Bagbin is the best for NDC 2020, after all, the truth is bitter but it's better". Mr. Nukpeta concluded.
