Ghana Growth Fund Company Limited, a subsidiary of the Nduom group, sued the Ministry of Finance and five others to take action against a debt of 20.7 million GH ¢.
The company charges interest on the amount at the discount rate in effect until the date of the last payment.
The Attorney General, the Minister of Roads and Roads, Amoh Prempeh Company Limited, Agyapot Company Limited and Reggio Limited are also involved in the lawsuit.
Three separate badignments have been filed on behalf of Ghana Growth Fund Company Limited with the High Court in Accra.
Judge Srem-Sai is the plaintiff's attorney.
According to the plaintiff, she has made various loans to Amoh Prempeh Limited Company, Agyapot Company Limited and Reggio Company Limited, to enable them to successfully execute government road construction contracts during 2011.
The three companies used the loan for road projects, but the government failed or delayed paying them.

As a result, the companies opened an escrow account with Ghana Growth Fund Company Limited, a joint signatory.
According to the agreement between the plaintiff and the defendants, the Ministry of Finance had to pay the contract money into the escrow account.
Following this, the government began making payments on the investment, but the payment stagnated along the line.
The plaintiff's efforts to induce the government to resume repayment failed, which resulted in a subsequent lawsuit.
According to the plaintiff, the efforts to charge the Minister of Finance resulted in financial hardship, which forced her to default on her own obligations to her owners, investors, clients, customers, employees and other creditors.
Claim details
With respect to the lawsuit against Agyapot, the Minister of Finance, the Attorney General and the Minister of Roads and Highways, the plaintiff seeks recovery of the sum of 4 416 719.37 GH ¢, the total nominal value of the accumulated but unpaid interim payment. certificates due to Agyapot in the context of road contracts.
In the case against Amoh Prempeh Company Limited and the other accused, the plaintiff seeks recovery of the sum of 13,900,849.73 GH ¢, the total nominal value of the accumulated but unpaid interim payment certificates (RR CPI No. 1, PK IPC No. 1). 2 and PK IPC No. 2A) due Amoh Prempeh.
In addition, Ghana Growth Fund Company Ltd. is asking the court to order the plaintiffs to pay 2,415,577.18 GH ¢), which is the total nominal value of the interim payment certificates due but not paid to Reggio Company Limited, which in turn to the complainant.
The contracts of the three companies were awarded between 2011 and 2016.
Other claims
The plaintiff seeks interest on the total amount, damages for breach of contract, costs and any other additional remedies the court may deem necessary.
