Mr. John Kumah, Director General of the National Plan for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, participated in the first edition of the Ash FM People's Forum in the Ashanti region.
Addressing the audience after being engaged in a health walk between the Aboabo Park office and Grasu Park, in the Ashanti region, Mr John Kumah introduced the different activities undertaken by the national plan for innovation and entrepreneurship over the past two years.
He said that, thanks to the vision of President Nana Addo, NEIP has provided funding to more than 1,000 people across the country and created many jobs for people previously unemployed.
"Before taking power, we promised to create jobs through entrepreneurship. We have kept that promise by providing funds, access to market and business consulting services to more than 10,000 entrepreneurs – the largest intervention any government in Ghana's history, we have created many jobs, "he said.
The People's Forum organized by Ash FM should create a platform to inform Ghanaians of the activities of the government led by Nana Addo. The Forum included senior government officials, political party leaders and the general public.
