Netflix Studios in Los Angeles have been locked up after reports of someone carrying a deadly weapon on the site.
The photos show Los Angeles police officers with guns outside the office of the giants. A report says that it is about a former Netflix employee who was "threatening to shoot".
Staff at Sunset Bronson Studios, near the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Van Ness Avenue, have not been allowed to leave the premises.
At least a dozen Los Angeles police officers could be seen at the entrance to Van Ness Avenue, near the Netflix building.
Fox News's Jessica Rosenthal then reported: "No active shooter at Netflix.
"Just on the phone with LAPD: An old #Netflix employee told someone that he had a gun, this person told LAPD. Nobody was in Neftlix or nearby with a gun. The person who uttered the threat was arrested off site. "
Director David Hayter tweeted: "Currently locked in our offices in Netflix, because of an active shooter. "
A neighboring KTLA journalist, also affected, said: "Lockdown in KTLA studios, a man with a lethal weapon was found, Choppers and police everywhere."
Another person said, "Gunman on the roof of Netflix LA, my daughter has been hiding, LAPD over there, I am terrified."
Tony Im, an officer with the Los Angeles Police Department, said the department had received "second-hand" information about an armed person.
Images of employees evacuated from studios are emerging after the announcement of the suspect's arrest.
