Netflix plans $ 500 million budget for Korea this year to smash Asia

Netflix, which has just started breaking into Asia in the past two years, has created more than 200 original movies and series in Asia, Sarandos said. The service added 9.2 million customers in the region last year, bringing its total to more than 25 million. Most of this growth comes from four territories: Australia, Japan, India and South Korea.
