Netflix's audience fell on Sunday night when the Americans dropped the streaming service to the Super Bowl.

"So, apparently, the Super Bowl is a big deal … it seems like the Netflix broadcast in the US has decreased by about 32% compared to a normal Sunday" Netflix tweeted Sunday night.

Netflix and other streaming services have tried different approaches to take advantage of the Super Bowl.

This year, Netflix has launched an advertisement for "Our Planet," an upcoming Netflix animal-focused show in April at the Super Bowl. Hulu launched a trailer for "The Handmaid's Tale" during the match.

In 2018, Netflix released a surprise trailer for the third film of the "Cloverfield" franchise at the Super Bowl. The film then fell on Netflix immediately after the end of the Super Bowl.

Netflix has not yet had the chance to lose this Super Bowl. Instead, Netflix's Twitter is focused on the tweet about "Our Planet".
