E & J Boxing Promotions, co-owned by Ellis Kwame Quashigah and John Owiredu Manfo, who are working hard as boxing organizers to give boxing fans something to cheer on and produce Great champions for Ghana have proposed a new date to Wasiru Mohammed against Loren Japhet of Tanzania.
According to Ellis Quashigah, they want to create a huge advertisement for Wasiru Mohammed, aka "Gyata Bi", who is now at the center of Ghanaian boxing.
The official said the advertisement for Saturday's bill had not dropped as expected, so the match was postponed from June 15 to 29 at the Accra stadium.
South Africa's Wasiru Mohammed of Ghana is ready for his first defense and wants the opportunity to win the WBO World Belt.
The fight takes place Saturday, June 29 at the sports stadium in Accra when he faces Loren Japhet of Tanzania.
Wasiru eliminated former champion Isaac Sackey in October of last year to win the WBO Africa Super Bantamweight title and he does not look back.
He was ranked 14th in the WBO World Ranking and No. 1 in Ghana in the super bantam weight division.
A source close to the young power boxer says the Ghanaian wants his return to the ring and is already ready for the battle for his opponent.

Wasiru's unbeaten record is 10-0, 9 KO against Tanzanian Loren Japhet with 9-2-2, 2 KO's of 13 fights.
Wasiru wants to be the first Ghanaian boxer to win a WBO World Title in the bantamweight division since its inception last year.
The new date is June 29, 2019 and boxing fans can not wait to see the explosive Lion Kid Boxer.
There are other boxers on the bill who support the fights and the promoters say it will be another memorable moment for Ghana Boxing with Bi Gyata.
