New details on actual issues reported between WWE stars Seth Rollins and Matt Riddle

It has long been said that Seth Rollins and Matt Riddle are on different pages.

It started with an Instagram post from Riddle’s wife directed at Becky Lynch and her body.

Of course, Rollins and Lynch are engaged and have since welcomed their first child into the world.

Right after Riddle was called to the main roster in 2020, the Speaking Out movement saw him face allegations of sexual misconduct. It wouldn’t be a stretch to think that his peers didn’t react favorably to this news either.

Last October, before the WWE Draft, Rollins said, “I have no interest in facing Matt Riddle at any point in my career so he can go to RAW as far as I’m concerned.”

However, according to Fightful, Rollins and Riddle have now “ solved the problem between them. ”

The bad blood between the two returned to the fore in November when Rollins was knocked out of the Survivor Series match before tangling with Riddle, just a month after he said he would never do it.

Maybe it was just a fluke and the story surrounding Rollins’ exit from the match made sense in the story in isolation, but either way, they’re back on the same page now.

In 2018, Rollins had seemed excited to work with Riddle.

“He’s a super talented person, with interesting skills, a different style,” he said. “I’m always intrigued by different styles, I feel like I can have a good match with anyone and I’d love to see how Riddle and I fit together.”

Riddle was dispatched to RAW during the draft and Rollins is on SmackDown, so their paths are unlikely to collide inside the square circle anytime soon, unless Rollins makes his return to the Royal Rumble.
Whenever they decide to lock themselves up, however, there’s a ready-made story that fans can dig into.
