The 12-speed Shimano XT has finally arrived: the group's giant launches new XT and SLX 12-speed versions, its second and third-tier mountain bike groups.
As expected from Shimano, the two new groups feature tons of 12-speed XTR M9100 group tracking technologies from last year and, by Shimano's own admission, the new 12-speed XTR M9100 group. The gap between its flagship option and its cheaper groups is narrower than ever.

The new Shiman- XT M8100 and SLX M7100 units are expected to ship by July. The aftermarket components will be available at a number of "selected priority retailers" from 14 June.
