Eric Ravussin, PhD, associate executive director for clinical sciences at Pennington Biomedical Research Center and study author, said: “This study shows that working cells change over the course of life in ways that we couldn’t not fully appreciate before. But massive datasets like the one we collaborated on allow us to answer questions we couldn’t answer.
