New mom, 24, with nine months to live after "morning sickness has turned out to be cancer"

A new 24-year-old mom has more than six to nine months to live after diagnosing a rare and aggressive form of liver cancer.

The courageous Elizabeth Wagner suffered the devastating shock just months after hosting her second son, Elijah, in the world, reports the Liverpool Echo.

Her family now fears that the terrible "morning sickness" she has experienced throughout her pregnancy is actually a symptom of the deadly disease.

Her sister Hannah Wagner, 26, said, "She was sick all through her pregnancy, but she thought it was morning sick all the time.

"We do not know now if it was a symptom."

Medical badistant Elizabeth, who also has a three-year-old boy, Ethan, with his partner Jairo, gave birth to little Elijah three months ago.

But a few days later, she was taken to the hospital after developing excruciating pain at the sides. The doctors later told her that she had 10 "liver abscesses".

And last week, she and her family received the terrible news that she actually had liver cancer, which was "very rare" and "advanced".

They were told that there was "nothing" that doctors could do.

Now, Elizabeth's relatives are desperately asking for help to fund a "life-saving" proton beam therapy treatment that is not available in the NHS.

If treatment is identified as an option for the mother of two, she will have to travel to the United States for treatment at a cost that her family can not cover.

Hannah told Echo: "She is so important to us all.

"None of us wants to lose her – she's the one who's crazy and funny and she has two boys – she does not deserve to lose seeing them grow up."

Elizabeth, from Walton, Liverpool, works at Fazakerley Hospital.

His family claims that his cancer was initially forgotten by health professionals.

Hannah said, "She started having pain in the side and it was after she had just given birth and she thought it had something to do with pregnancy.

"That was pretty much all right [after having Elijah]. "

Elizabeth also suffered from illness throughout her pregnancy.

Her sister added, "After the delivery, she did nothing.After about a week, her boyfriend took her to the hospital because she was suffering a lot."

It was during admission to the Elizabeth Hospital in December that doctors discovered 10 liver abscesses, which they chose to try to deal with. antibiotic treatment.

However, earlier this month, the new mother and her family said they were told that the abscesses were actually liver cancer – and that the doctors could not do anything.

Elizabeth had just moved into her new home with her young family.

Dedicated, Jairo must now badume all the responsibilities of becoming a father, while taking care of her partner and giving her healthy food.

Hannah said, "He has been great – he takes care of children, cares for her, makes healthy food for her, he does not take her eyes off her."

She added that the couple planned to bond in April.

The Elizabeth family has set up a GoFundMe page to raise £ 100,000 to fund her trip and her treatments in America.
