New shows in February 2019: first TV for Amazon, Hulu and Showtime

Now that the industry has surpbaded its early-year glimpses (check out the most-watched IndieWire television series in 2019), the month of February is upon us. While the world of cinema remains focused on last year in the perspective of the Oscars, there are still many new series worthy of the attention of the television. As always seems to be the case when we look at the upcoming calendar for a given month, there is a huge range of offers in streaming, broadcast and cable. The legendary "Soul Train" host, Don Cornelius, has his own biographical film, describing the drama that takes place off-camera when the syndicated series becomes a national sensation. "Pen15" (February 8, Hulu)
