New VR glasses: Facebook bids farewell to external sensors

Oculus comes with new VR glbades on the market. The Oculus Rift came out with OLED screens; the Rift S features LCD screens with a resolution of 1280 x 1440 pixels per eye. The Rift S has been developed in cooperation with Lenovo.

As the Oculus announcement, the new virtual reality goggles omit external tracking cameras and instead use "inside tracking". Five cameras built into the headset determine the position of the remote and the player in the room. The Rift S has the same audio system as the Oculus Quest and the Oculus Go and can be used with any headphone through the audio jack. Speaking of connections: without cables, the new VR glbades are not enough. Occulus, however, promises a "no-entangled experience" thanks to the unique cable system.
