New Zealand hopes to host World Congress of Lawyer

NOTew Zealand Avocado has entered the race to host the 2023 World Advocate Congress (WAC). Top industry members will apply when they attend the version of this year's event at Columbia in September.

Held every four years, the WAC will bring together more than 2,000 law-enforcement industry leaders from across New Zealand, including producers, researchers, marketers, technology innovators and investors.

"The New Zealand avocado industry has experienced real growth with excellent returns, resulting in significant new investment in the industry. It's our chance to introduce the industry and celebrate the lawyers here in New Zealand, "said Jen Scoular, Executive Director of New Zealand Avocado.

"New Zealand has developed an incredible horticultural industry with an impressive innovation and is determined to offer its international lawyer friends what can be a unique opportunity to visit our beautiful country."

The conference offers producers and industry professionals the opportunity to hear about and discuss the changing global landscape of the lawyer. Tony Ponder, president of New Zealand Avocado, said the local industry would benefit enormously from hosting this event.

"This is a great opportunity for our own producers to attend a global event, network with some of the world's leading producers and learn directly about current and emerging technologies and innovations," said Ponder.

The application is supported by Tourism New Zealand. If successful, this will be the first time that New Zealand has organized this event.
