Newcastle United joins the race to sign Andre Ayew
English Premier League club Newcastle United emerged as a favorite to sign Ghana and the striker Swansea City Andre Ayew. Ayew wants to leave Swansea City after the club has been relegated to the English championship.
According to a report in the English tabloid Chronicle Live, Newcastle leads the race to sign Andre Ayew while they face strong opposition from the Turkish trio of Besiktas, Fenerbahce and Galatasaray
The new coach of Swansea, Graham Potter said earlier that Andre Ayew was not for sale but that the Ghanaian could leave the Liberty Stadium for £ 18 million.
