FPL players are bombarding @OfficialFPL's Twitter account with questions about when Higuain will be available and how much it will cost.
The 31-year-old striker could be announced as a Chelsea player today.
"Dear @OfficialFPL How much will Gonzalo Higuain be? Ask a friend. #FPL, we write.
"@OfficialFPL Higuain come on fancy before the weekend? I want him as a substitute for Kane!
One swore: "Higuain being bought immediately @OfficialFPL !!! Price him at £ 9.5! "
While another questioned: "I would like to inquire about the price @G_Higuain, please #FPL #higuain."
"Will Higuain be on the list before the end of the week? We must make decisions in this spirit, "asked another.
Higuain declined to comment on reports of a move to Chelsea upon his return to Italy in the early hours of Thursday morning.
The 31-year-old Argentine striker played under Maurizio Sarri's orders in Naples and a meeting with the Chelsea boss could take place this month, with speculation growing in Italy.
Higuain, currently on loan from AC Milan, left the bench in the Supercoppa Italiana defeat on Wednesday night at Juventus' main club in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Any deal is complicated, as the deal between Higuain and Milan lasts until the end of the season and Chelsea is generally reluctant to engage in deals with older players.
"If you are looking for problems, you will not find them with me," Higuain told the Italian media who met him on his arrival at Milan Malpensa airport.
Sarri has expressed frustration at Chelsea's striking strength in recent weeks. Alvaro Morata is out of the group for the last two games and Olivier Giroud is often a substitute.
The 60-year-old Italian preferred to play Eden Hazard as a "fake nine", but the system did not yield the desired results.
Morata, signed at Real Madrid for £ 60 million in July 2017, was badociated with a departure from Stamford Bridge, with Atletico Madrid becoming the most likely destination.
Michy Batshuayi, another Chelsea forward, is currently on loan in Valencia, who wants to shorten his contract.
Monaco was linked to the Belgian striker, but said on Wednesday that Chelsea was in favor of a final deal allowing Batshuayi to leave, rather than a new loan.
