Morata closes on the return from Madrid
The unfortunate period of Alvaro Morata in Chelsea is almost over since the Spanish striker would have agreed to join Atletico Madrid.
Morata will return to the Spanish capital with a first loan, although Atleti has the opportunity to make permanent change in the summer.
The former Real Madrid striker joined Chelsea 18 months ago, but struggled to capitalize on an impressive start to life at Stamford Bridge. He has been ruled out of Maurizio Sarri's team in recent weeks.
His departure should allow Chelsea to complete a credit move for Gonzalo Higuain, long linked to the Blues.
Mislintat leaves Arsenal
Sven Mislintat was supposed to play a key role in Arsenal's post-Arsene Wenger revolution, but things did not go that way for the German scout.
The Gunners confirmed Monday that the head of recruitment, Mislintat, would leave his post in February, just 14 months after his arrival at Emirates Stadium.
His relationship with head coach Unai Emery had been broken in recent weeks. He was also unhappy that the club decided to hire a sports director.
Mislintat, who is expected to join Bayern Munich, said: "It has been an incredible experience working at a big club like Arsenal in this time of great change.
"I am excited about what the future holds for the club and I look forward to new challenges."
Barca to pay the ransom of the prince?
Kevin-Prince Boateng is still considered one of the best players in the world, and the former Ghana midfielder has imposed himself as a shock target for Barcelona.
Boateng, 31, has been impressive for Sbaduolo in this season, scoring four goals in 13 appearances for the medley.
This form would have attracted the attention of Barca and the former star of Portsmouth, Tottenham and Milan would be about to complete a loan transfer to Camp Nou.
If it impresses, the Catalan club will have the option of making the agreement permanent in the summer.
