The current midfielder's head coach would prefer to stay in the Eternal City, but understands that the club might have to take advantage of a lucrative offer.
Lazio head coach Simone Inzaghi said he wanted to stay on the Manchester United target, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, but that he had to take into account his offers.
The Serbian international midfielder is linked to the move to Old Trafford since last summer and reports suggest that an agreement between United and Lazio is about to be finalized.
Inzaghi would like the 24-year-old to remain in the ranks of the Stadio Olimpico, but with £ 90 million ($ 111 million), he knows his club may have to make some money.

"I think I would like Milinkovic-Savic to stay," said the former Lazio striker to the press. "But I also think that the club has to take into account the offers when it comes in, and then make a decision.
"Milinkovic is 24 now, he is no longer a child. I can give him advice, he is at our disposal and has not missed a workout, but I do not know what will happen.
"I hope it stays."
This is the second summer of speculation on the possible transfer of Serbs to the giants of the Premier League.
Last summer, it was thought that Milinkovic-Savic was about to change his mind, but Lazio's president, Claudio Lotito, said that it would be harder to keep the player this summer.
His current head coach has no illusions about finding a replacement for Milinkovic-Savic, who scored 22 goals in 125 games against Lazio.
"We know that if he had to leave, we would have important shoes to fill," Inzaghi added.
"I hope it stays, he had a great pre-season training camp, but the market is open and we are ready for any situation."

If Milinkovic-Savic arrives in Manchester, it could allow Paul Pogba to go to the exit door.
Both players share a similar style of play and Pogba has been linked to a move to Real Madrid and is reported to be pushing for the transfer to take place.
