Hirving Lozano spoke to his countryman Javier Henrandez about life at Manchester United, a move that seems to be getting closer and closer.

The Mexican has long been a target for the Red Devils who spotted the striker for years and talks continued between the club and his agent, Mino Raiola.

Lozano, who plays for PSV in the Netherlands, would love to go to Old Trafford and talk to his international teammate, Chicharito.

Hernandez played for United from 2010 to 2015, scoring 59 goals in 157 games, and spoke enthusiastically about his stint at the club.

A source told Team Talk: "Hirving wants to join United, which is as important as a move to Real Madrid or Barcelona – he told Chicarito what he looks like in Manchester, and Javier could not be nicer to him, his old club and told Hirving to push hard.

The 23-year-old has scored 17 goals in 27 appearances in Eredivisie for PSV this season, having scored the same total in 29 games in the last campaign.

The attacker would have a release clause of around £ 34m, which would be an excellent value in the current market.

Lozano signed for PSV Mexico's Pachuca in 2017 and club president Jesus Martinez explained how United has been following his career for years.

"What I can say and guarantee is that since he's 16, a scout from Manchester United is watching him at Hirving," said Martinez. ESPN Deportes.

"They have all his file. They have everything: videos, goals, behavior, qualifications. They are one of the clubs with the best scouts and professionals in the area.

"My ultimate dream would be to see 'Chucky' [Lozano’s nickname] at United and Hector [Herrera] at Atletico Madrid.

"It would be my dream and theirs."
